65,000 hours of preventative maintenance work on 28,000 assets (equipment)
Over 100,000 hours of corrective maintenance (repairs for equipment and systems breakdowns)
Approximately 160,000 hours of service maintenance for maintaining building envelope components (painting walls, fixing doors, repairing windows and floors, etc.)
Does Facilities Management contract any maintenance work?
Yes, Facilities Management contracts some preventative maintenance work for specialized systems and activities like elevators, fire alarms, roofing, and pest control.
Can my department contract with another firm besides Facilities Management?
No, departments need to work with Facilities Management for maintenance services. Contact your district associate director with any questions.
