Fame, finals and flurries!

Dear FM,

The week of Thanksgiving we literally had a perfect storm of events: our first snow storm where the University declared reduced operations, a holiday weekend and ESPN brought national attention from their broadcast right smack in the middle of Northrop Mall. The weather systems passing through that week were nasty, continually changing from rain to sleet and snow.

 Before College GameDay

 During College GameDay

FM Landcare rose to the challenge and not only helped successfully prepare for the U’s first ever ESPN College GameDay event, but managed the much bigger, week-long snow removal and event management effort. A big thank you goes out to Landcare employees for working long days over the holiday weekend! They moved a lot of snow and ice on Northop Mall and TCF Bank Stadium areas, and executed massive cleanups of both these areas.
